Anita McCallum
Anita joined CPA in 2007 as a tutor/assessor and lectures at all levels for a wide variety of CMI courses. She has operated at a senior management and board level in permanent, consultancy and interim roles for the last 18 years - specialising in marketing and change management. During that time, she has worked for organisations as diverse as NHS Institute for Innovation & Improvement, Transport for London, Thomas Cook, Papworth Hospital, KLM Air UK, awg and Centrica. She was part of the team at Thomas Cook involved in large-scale change of the travellers cheque business and brought forward the electronic cash agenda and call centre services in this150-year old business; all later sold on to Travelex for £440m. She has most recently been involved in the commercialisation of a public sector organisation to GovCo status and securing a £80m revenue stream to ensure its self-sustainability for the foreseeable future.
Educated to degree level, her original background is in psychology. An experienced facilitator and trainer, she is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute, is married with one child and, for fun, she teaches Jazzercise to adults in East Anglia - so look out for some interesting warm up exercises if she is your tutor!
